Edge1830-G2 Series Gas Conveyor Pizza Ovens

EDGE 1830 Conveyor ovens are designed to be stacked up to three high. Each oven has an 18” wide conveyor belt and a 30” long baking chamber. These ovens can usually be installed under a standard 48” make line hood.

Portable & Scalable

With support for natural gas or propane configurations, the EDGE 1830 is the perfect solution for mobile pizza trucks and lower-volume pizza shops. With the future ability to expand to two or three stack configurations, the EDGE 1830 can grow with your business needs.

Affordable

EDGE 1830 ovens are affordably priced with an initial acquisition cost not much higher than a good quality reconditioned oven.

Energy Efficient

All EDGE1830 Ovens come standard with a modulating burner. The modulating burner used in the EDGE1830 Oven is the first of its kind in the pizza oven industry. It works by precisely controlling both gas and combustion air. By controlling both gas and airflow the burner can attain maximum efficiency throughout its entire firing range.

Low Operating Costs

Overall operating costs of the EDGE 1830 oven is about 35 cents per hour based on an oven temperature of 475 deg F, electricity costs at 10 cents per kWh, and natural gas costs at $1.30 per Ccf.

Removable Control Cabinet

EDGE 1830 control cabinet houses all the electrical and gas components except for the main motor. The control cabinet can be unbolted and returned to the factory for service or upgrades. Additional control can be used as a spare to eliminate any costly downtime.

Construction

EDGE 1830 ovens are manufactured to exact tolerances and use stainless steel inside and out.

Capacity

Even at 30 inches, our smallest oven still bakes a lot of pizzas per hour.

Ventilation

EDGE 1830 ovens must be used under a ventilation hood only. The Hood system must conform to all local and applicable codes.

Manufacturing

EDGE 1830 ovens are manufactured in our Dunbar, PA facility.

  • Intelligent Diagnostics: The diagnostic features of the G2 Control system bring the serviceability of the EDGE oven to a new level. Information flows from the oven components to this innovative control, allowing for exceptionally fast diagnostics and performance evaluation.
  • Recipe-Driven Menu: The G2 Control system is more than just a pretty screen that responds to your touch. 30 recipes can be configured to meet the demands of your business. Recipes can be copied from oven to oven and even from store to store.
  • Control System Lock: A custom access PIN can be set up to prevent recipe tampering and help ensure that the product your customer expects, is the product they receive.
  • Low Operating Costs: Operation of the EDGE1830 can be as little as $0.28 per hour! (Estimate based on an MCF price of $6.80 and a KWh price of $0.12. Estimate calculated after a 1-hour pre-heat.)
  • Reliability: The G2 Control system takes a leap forward in service and reliability. Belt Jam Detection prevents costly damage due to misplaced objects. Critical components are monitored and information is brought forward for viewing, reducing downtime and wasted service visits. The EDGE conveyor system uses a high-quality brushless motor, eliminating brush replacement.
  • Construction: EDGE1830 ovens are manufactured to exact tolerances and use stainless steel inside and out. The EDGE oven still has welded corners, a testament to our dedication to quality and traditional craftsmanship
